Michelle Pollard has been in the recruitment industry, locally and nationally for over 30 years.  Michelle is passionate about recruiting and has a background not only within the high street recruitment marketplace, but has also enjoyed many years in the online recruitment space.

Michelle was responsible for bringing strategic online recruitment to several key organisations across the region and nationally, and was considered part of the online recruitment revolution being one of the earliest online recruitment adopters. She has a well-rounded knowledge of everything ‘recruitment’ and the local jobs market from a client, candidate and recruitment supplier perspective.

She is a wife, mum and netball player who enjoys everything and anything social and is a big believer in choosing a job you love, so you’ll never need work again.

I am Holly and I have 6 years’ experience in the recruitment industry gained within both agency and internal environments. before entering the world of recruitment, I worked in the aviation industry, and developed my Customer Service skills.

 I have a creative side and a flair for writing amusing songs on the spot! I joined Spider in October 2016, I am now a lean mean advert writing machine!

After taking a career break from the recruitment industry after becoming a father, I returned due to missing the recruitment buzz. When Michelle heard that I was available at the beginning of 2019 we finally got an opportunity to bang our heads together and share our thoughts on the industry as a whole and we both liked what each other had to say.

Since joining Spider as the Divisional Manager for the permanent side of the business have been impressed with structure and the Spider ethos. My main goal is to push the Permanent ‘Spider’ brand to compliment the already successful and award winning Online Job Advertising side of Spider and ensure that we deliver a true 360 recruitment service to meet all of our clients personal and financial needs.

I have over 9 years recruitment experience working with clients throughout East Anglia ranging from SME’s to Blue-Chip organisations across a wide range of sectors including Insurance, Financial, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, Shipping & Logistics,

Outside of the office you will find me pounding the streets early mornings as I am a keen runner then spending the rest of my time with my son Dimitri.

I’m an experienced recruiter originally from a financial services background but with experience within healthcare and construction too.  At Spider, I head up the Financial Services desk providing support across the country.

I pride myself in offering clients and candidates a consultative view on career progression, salary ranges and market availability.  I have a strong network of candidates and clients and love the challenge of sourcing candidates for the most difficult of roles.  I really enjoy placing Paraplanners, Financial Planners, Business Development Managers and Compliance roles and get a real buzz out of getting a great candidate into a great role!

Outside of work I’m very much a family man and I enjoy spending time with my 3 year old daughter.
