Michelle Pollard has been in the recruitment industry, locally and nationally for over 30 years. Michelle is passionate about recruiting and has a background not only within the high street recruitment marketplace, but has also enjoyed many years in the online recruitment space.
Michelle was responsible for bringing strategic online recruitment to several key organisations across the region and nationally, and was considered part of the online recruitment revolution being one of the earliest online recruitment adopters. She has a well-rounded knowledge of everything ‘recruitment’ and the local jobs market from a client, candidate and recruitment supplier perspective.
She is a wife, mum and netball player who enjoys everything and anything social and is a big believer in choosing a job you love, so you’ll never need work again.
I am Holly and I have 6 years’ experience in the recruitment industry gained within both agency and internal environments. before entering the world of recruitment, I worked in the aviation industry, and developed my Customer Service skills.
I have a creative side and a flair for writing amusing songs on the spot! I joined Spider in October 2016, I am now a lean mean advert writing machine!

My background is in recruitment, training and project management, in particular organisation change, across a variety of industries from training, finance and wholesale. I have gained experience from both sides of the fence as a recruiting manager as well as a recruiter.
Having recently rejoined Spider this year, after relocating to Cambridge I didn’t hesitate in returning when Michelle got back in touch. Being able to support them with a traditional recruitment service when the clients need something more whilst maintaining the Spider fixed fee ethos is a passion for me.
I have worked in the recruitment industry for over 20 years. During that time I have acquired a wealth of experience throughout the commercial sector working with businesses of all sizes from SMEs to multinationals. I have recruited in the finance, sales and marketing, HR, R&D and business support disciplines from junior to senior level. I have also worked in industry within HR and understand the time and budget issues involved in recruiting from the client perspective.
I joined Spider in April 2018 having previously worked with a local competitor in the online job advertising world, I know how hard Spider are to compete against and how loyal their customers are. I absolutely jumped at the chance to come on board with them and form part of their web. I am extremely passionate about online recruitment and know from experience how it is a proven success across the county.
I am Spider’s very own ‘Mrs Norfolk’ and am here to build relationships, listen to the needs of recruiting companies and fly the Spider flag high from my base in Norwich.
I joined the Spider team in May 2018 having discovered my passion for marketing whilst studying at university. I have previously worked in marketing positions and understand how crucial it is for a business to raise awareness of their activities and services, particularly when they are as disruptive to the market as Spider.
I am delighted to be a part of helping Spider’s profile to grow across East Anglia and beyond, allowing companies to recruit the very best candidates.
I am the new baby spider of the team having only joined in June 2018. I have 18 years experience as a Recruitment Administrator in London and Essex.
